Food tech: Chocolate muffins, Lomio & Moroni

Chocolate Muffin

Ingredients

Step one
Put 1 and 1/2 cup of sr flour and 1/2 of sugar
1 egg. 1/3 coco,  50g of choc

then wet ingriedients
milk one cup
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2cp of oil then mix and scoop into muffin cups and cook at 180c

Me and my partner have done the same so please enjoy when you have finished.

PS ours is extra crispy

Food tech: Lomio & Moroni

Today we have made hot cakes the ingredients were:
1 1/2 of self raising flour
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of milk
1 egg

then me and my partner had to mix all the ingredients all together then we had to heat up the pan then oil it, then scoop the mix into the pan, then waited till the bubbles were shown on the hot cake, then flip it till it cooked then placed it on a plate, then me and my partner added syrup to our hot cakes, then we ate it and enjoyed it. P.S where still eating it :)

Review: Modernisation & Globalisation

Today in social studies we were learning two new concepts which were Globalisation and Modernisation. 

The first one was Modernisation which mean's to adapt in a way that would be able to help a country learn about the technology of the present and soon to be future. New Zealand is a country that has adapted to a modern world. So that in future times we will be ahead of most of the world.

Globalisation occurs when massive companies have huge impacts on small nations, spreading there software and technology throughout the world. One company that has influenced countries is Microsoft which has now become worldwide.

Anzac: Day 25 of april

Anzac day was created to remember all of the fallen soldiers that had went to the fight at Gallipoli for the safety of our lives for the past and future. When they went to fight for us they were facing a vast amount of soldiers in Turkey were all of the soldiers had been stationed. When they had left for the battle field they had to leave their family behind to fight for a bigger cause. When the soldiers came back from the war the people wanted to commemorate the soldiers for what they had done on the battle field. 

The reason for why they use the poppy as the symbol of Anzac day is cause back in the days red poppies had always bloomed over graves of dead soldiers in France and Belgium. It also stands for a sign of respect and gratitude for what they did for us. There are many ways that we could celebrate Anzac day in Hastings I was able to witness a celebration which was called the Dawn Parade.

At the Dawn Parade I had seen three air fighters fly by while the soldiers where shooting off their muskets while we were standing in the cold on 25 of April.
